Job summary

Phenomenex, part of Danaher, seeks an Account Manager for a fixed-term contract to manage a southern Italy territory. You will provide advanced technical support, coordinate product demonstrations, and grow relationships with key decision makers while aligning with sales goals.

Role covers remote work with 10–20% travel, requiring a chemistry/biology background and fluent Italian and English. A company car and home office allowance are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology or related Science required.
• Ability to analyze and facilitate dialogue; negotiate effectively.
• Strategic planning and resource allocation to meet business needs.
• Advanced knowledge of sales principles and negotiation.
• Good knowledge of Chromatography; lab/science product sales preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer visits to provide technical information and product demonstrations.
• Attend local vendor shows and trade shows to promote products.
• Build relationships with key decision makers beyond buying level.
• Ensure territory meets sales, gross profit and unit goals.
• Develop business plans and sales strategies with Sales Manager; collaborate cross-functionally.
