Baker Hughes is seeking a System Engineer to design auxiliaries for upgrades, integrate new supply at site and support plant modernization. You will define processes, selections, and installation with a focus on efficiency and life-extension of equipment.

The role requires proficiency in complex engineering analyses, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration across internal and external teams. Italian and English fluency is expected, with an emphasis on safety and quality compliance.

Competenze

• Master’s degree or PhD in Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace, Aeronautical or equivalent.
• Knowledge of structural and fluid computational analysis tools.
• 5 years of experience in O&G or energy-oriented environments.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; good communication in English and Italian.
• Six Sigma or Green Belt Certification is a plus.

Mansioni

• Lead the system design of auxiliaries for upgrades (lubrication oil, hydraulic oil, control oil, water cooling, fuel gas, liquid fuel, seal gas, ventilation, gas detection, fire protection).
• Attend site surveys to define new supply and integrate it into existing plants.
• Produce technical documentation in line with quality and schedule requirements.
• Conduct HAZOP, SIL, Hazid and LOPA reviews.
• Develop predictive system design using Matlab/Simulink to foresee transient behaviors and define high-level control logic.
• Execute design, analysis or evaluation of assigned projects per engineering standards and program requirements.
• Interact with internal interfaces (ITO Team, Project Engineering, Project Manager, etc.) and external interfaces (Customers, Suppliers).
• Provide technical leadership and manage engineering hours budget.
• Ensure compliance with BH values, promote cultural transformation and HSE.
