Baker Hughes in Italy seeks a Lead Engineer, Automation & Control, Product Design and Engineering to design control systems for Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, and Compressors, aligning with IEC61508/IEC61511 and other standards. You will collaborate with hardware and software teams, define package control philosophy, optimize standard solutions, and support customers worldwide, traveling up to 10%.

Fluent English required; BSc/MSc in relevant engineering fields preferred.

Competenze

BSc or MSc in Control, Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, Management or Computer Science Engineering.
Proficient in control system design and related development tools; knowledge of industry codes and standards.
Familiar with PLC architecture, computer networks, and Industrial Safety principles.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence and motivate others.
Willing to travel worldwide up to 10% for customer meetings and site/test bed support.
Fluent in spoken and written English.

Mansioni

Define Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine and Compressor Control Systems architecture based on project requirements and applicable standards (IEC61508/IEC61511).
Define the Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine and Compressor Package Control philosophy, based on internal standards and customer needs.
Define and verify functional safety requirements of Control System architecture.
Collaborate on detailed control hardware and software design with engineering specialists, suppliers, and customers.
Optimize and simplify internal standard solutions and design tools; develop new ideas.
