Baker Hughes is seeking a Control System Lead Engineer to shape the architecture for Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine and Compressor control systems in our Industry & Energy Technology team.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, define safety-driven control philosophies and ensure compliance with IEC61508/IEC61511, while travelling up to 10% for customers and tests. Fluent English required.

Competenze

• BSc or MSc in Control, Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, Management or Computer Science Engineering.
• Proficient in Control System design and related development tools; knowledge of industry codes and standards.
• Familiar with PLC architecture, computer networks, and industrial Safety principles.
• Have developed interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence and motivate others.
• Be able and willing to travel worldwide up to 10% of the time for customer meetings and/or site/test bed support.
• Be fluent in spoken and written English.

You will be responsible for the Control System design for Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines and Compressors driven Compressor and Generator applications. You will have the opportunity to introduce new technology to enhance company profitability and productivity. You will be responsible for maintaining and incorporating new cost-effective solutions for design.

As a Control System Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Defining Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine and Compressor Control Systems architecture based on projects requirements and the application of International Standards (e.g. ATEX, CSA, NEC/NEMA, IECex)

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have BSc. or MSc. of Science in Control, Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, Management or Computer Science Engineering.
• Be proficient in Control System design and related development tools; knowledge of industry codes and standards.

The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 43,600 To 70,000 The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. Section VI - Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay
