Burberry is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Milan to support the Store Manager in driving category performance and leading the sales team to deliver the Burberry Experience.

You will coach, develop talent, and ensure every customer interaction reflects our brand values. The role requires a hands-on leader with a passion for coaching and delivering exceptional service in a luxury environment.

Competenze

• Advanced proficiency with retail POS systems.
• Strong conflict resolution skills for handling customer scenarios.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with clients and teammates.
• Familiarity with Apple devices for digital engagement.
• 1–2 years of retail management experience with a track record of leading teams.
• Leadership, coaching and mentoring abilities in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Lead, inspire and develop sales associates to meet or exceed KPIs.
• Collaborate with Store Manager on category sales and training.
• Foster a high-performing, customer-centric team culture.
• Manage customer flow to ensure seamless service.
• Encourage teamwork among sales, specialists, stock and operations.
• Coach the team in real-time and post-transaction to improve outcomes.
• Support talent development through regular reviews and development plans.
• Lead onboarding for new team members and integrate them successfully.
• Model the Burberry Experience with proactive customer engagement.
• Partner with Store Manager and Training to reinforce core elements of the Burberry Experience.
• Resolve complex customer concerns and escalate when needed to protect brand reputation.
• In the absence of store management, handle key operational tasks and compliance.
• Promote digital customer experiences using Apple devices and digital tools.
• Maintain strong business acumen and adherence to policies and standards.
• Create a positive, inclusive work atmosphere and foster collaboration.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and security of premises and POS.
• Carry out other duties to support store success.
