Job summary

Inter IKEA Group in Italy is seeking Service Provider Operations Developers (SPOD) to work close to operations and business development, ensuring our land logistics service providers perform at their best, every day.

The role reports to Business Development Manager and focuses on improving performance, forecasting, planning and contracts. Salary range is €50.000–€55.000 gross annually, with Level 3 under CCNL Commerce.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics operations, transport and land service provider management.
• Understanding of how capacity, quality, safety, precision and cost come together in daily execution.
• Ability to analyse deviations and drive corrective actions with service providers.
• Relationship-building to balance partnership and performance while developing providers.
• Motivation for continuous improvement and turning agreements into outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Secure and continuously improve service provider performance across capacity, quality, safety, precision and cost.
• Ensure the right capacity is available at the right time through forecasting, planning and close partner collaboration.
• Drive operational development through service provider development plans, business reviews and new set-ups.
• Manage deviations and unforeseen situations to protect stable operations at the lowest total cost.
• Safeguard compliance and long-term efficiency by following up contracts, standards and improvement opportunities.
