Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Tender for Secure Power in Milano, to manage contracts, bids and proposals. You will analyze complex RFQs, drive the tender process, develop technical and commercial offers, and coordinate internal approvals while engaging clients to showcase value.

The role emphasizes customer orientation, teamwork, and clear communication with stakeholders across regions. A permanent contract with opportunities for career growth and international exposure is offered.

Qualifications

• University degree in an engineering discipline, preferably electrical or mechanical.
• Clear customer-oriented vision.
• Ability to work well in a team and be results-driven.

• Finance literacy.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Contract, bid and proposal management for complex RFQs.
• Lead tender preparation with accurate costing using established processes and tools.
• Develop technical and commercial offers and manage internal approvals.
• Coordinate internal communications to ensure on-schedule bids.
• Engage with clients to clarify requirements and present Schneider Electric solutions.
• Build strong customer relationships and support sales teams during tendering.

Currently we are looking for a Tender for Secure Power.

What will you do?

Contract, Bid and Proposal Management. Analyze complex RFQs (Request For Quotation), and lead the tender preparation process to prepare accurate costing using established process and tools.

• Manage the entire bid process, including the development of technical and commercial offers, and oversee the internal approval process;
• Coordinate internal communication and follow-ups to ensure that all offers are complete on schedule;
• Maintain reliable and efficient communication with key stakeholders, and elevate issues when necessary;
• Engage in discussions with clients to explain Schneider Electric solutions, gather detailed requirements and develop competitive and client-satisfying architectures;
• Present the added value of offers, from both technical and economic perspectives to customers;
• Build and maintain strong customer relationship from tendering perspective, working closely with the sales team.

What qualifications will make you successful?

• University Degree in an Engineering discipline, ideally in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Demonstrate a clear customer-oriented vision
• Ability to work effectively in a group setting, team oriented and results driven
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Finance Literacy
