Schneider Electric is seeking a proactive Tendering and Proposals Specialist in Italy to support the bid process from RFQ analysis to documentation. You will collaborate with opportunity leaders and internal teams to ensure compliant, timely offers using bFO and standard terms.

Key responsibilities include preparing costings, managing documentation, and coordinating handovers and meetings with the tendering team, while ensuring alignment with customer requirements and internal standards.

Competenze

  • Experience in tendering or project management.
  • Knowledge in the field of electrotechnics.
  • Ability to work with technical/engineering teams to structure proposals/bid documents.
  • Italian and English speaking.

Mansioni

  • Provide day-to-day tendering team support.
  • Process RFQs to meet requested dates, escalate if needed.
  • Understand customer specs to deliver correct requirements.
  • Clarify ambiguities with the opportunity leader before uploading RFQ in bFO.
  • Ensure all Terms and Conditions align with standard; raise deviations to Tendering Manager.
  • Prepare handover documents in the DATE tool and attend handover meetings.

Mission

Perform customer projects bids and commercial offers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible of the day-to-day analysis of Request For Quotations
  • Prepare costing using standard processes and tools.
  • Prepare offer documentation consistent validated data which has been provided by opportunity leader (team) inside our internal tool (bFO).
  • Perform simple risk analysis if required. Offers can be stand alone tender (ETO Category D) or internal solutions more complex (ETO Category B/C).
Main Activities
  • Provide support to the Tender Manager in the day-to-day actions of the tendering team.
  • Process customer Request For Quotations efficiently to meet the customer requested date. If you are unable to meet customer requested date, then elevate to Tender manager for review.
  • Understand customer specifications to ensure the correct requirements are delivered.
  • Any ambiguities must be clarified with opportunity leader prior to uploading Request For Quotation in bFO.
  • Ensure customer and opportunity leader are aware of any non-compliance in the offer.
  • Ensure all Terms and Conditions are as per standard. Any deviations from standard Terms and Conditions must be raised to Tendering Manager prior to offer being upload to bFO.
  • Prepare hand over documents in our (DATE) tool.
  • Attend handover meeting as a representative from the tendering team.
  • Attend and participate to local (SIM) meetings. If request support Tendering Manager in attending other unit (SIM) team meetings.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Preferred experience in tendering or project management
  • Knowledge in the field of electrotechnics
  • Ability to work closely with technical/engineering teams to structure proposals/contracts/bid documents
  • Italian and English speaking
