Zirak is seeking a Junior Embedded Software Engineer to contribute to automotive connectivity projects in Pisa, Italy. You will help develop and integrate software for OTA updates, telematics and V2X features on embedded platforms.

You will work with CAN, LIN, Ethernet, Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi and cellular stacks, and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure robust, standards-compliant software across ECUs and infotainment systems.

Competenze

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
1–2 years of embedded software experience, preferably in automotive.
Strong C and C++ programming skills.
Python scripting experience.
Knowledge of embedded development, testing and debugging practices.
Experience with Git version control.
Experience with JIRA for issue tracking.
Good written and spoken English communication skills.
Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Mansioni

Develop and maintain embedded software components for in-vehicle connectivity modules (TCU and infotainment).
Implement, integrate and test CAN, LIN, Ethernet, Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi and cellular technologies.
Support OTA updates, telematics and V2X features.
Contribute to software integration, debugging, testing and issue resolution on embedded automotive platforms.
Collaborate with hardware, systems engineering, cybersecurity and cloud teams.
Follow automotive software development processes and standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262, AUTOSAR).
