Zirak in Prato, Tuscany, Italy is seeking a Junior Embedded Software Engineer to contribute to connected-vehicle solutions, including OTA updates, telematics, V2X and infotainment. You will develop and maintain embedded software for TCU and in-vehicle systems.

Responsibilities include implementing and testing CAN/LIN/Ethernet/Bluetooth/Wi‑Fi/cellular protocols, debugging, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure ASPICE, ISO 26262 and AUTOSAR compliance.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 1–2 years of professional embedded software experience, preferably in automotive.
• Strong C and C++ programming skills; Python scripting experience.
• Experience with Git version control and JIRA issue-tracking.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain embedded software for in-vehicle connectivity modules (TCU and infotainment).
• Implement and test automotive and wireless protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, cellular).
• Support OTA updates, telematics and V2X functionalities.
• Contribute to software integration, debugging, testing and issue resolution on embedded platforms.
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, cybersecurity and cloud teams.
