Zirak in Palermo is seeking an embedded software engineer to develop and maintain automotive connectivity modules, including TCU and infotainment systems. You will implement and test CAN, LIN, Ethernet, Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi protocols, and contribute to OTA, telematics and V2X functionalities.

The role requires 1–2 years in embedded software, strong C/C++ skills, Python scripting, Git/JIRA experience, and good English communication.

Competenze

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
1–2 years of professional experience in embedded software development, preferably automotive.
Strong C and C++ programming skills.
Experience with Python scripting.
Knowledge of embedded software development, integration, testing and debugging practices.
Experience with Git version control.
Experience with JIRA for issue-tracking and project management.
Good written and spoken English communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Mansioni

Develop and maintain embedded software components for in-vehicle connectivity modules (TCU and infotainment).
Implement, integrate and test automotive and wireless protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, cellular).
Support connected‑vehicle features (OTA updates, telematics, V2X).
Contribute to software integration, debugging, testing and issue resolution on embedded automotive platforms.
Collaborate with cross‑functional hardware, systems engineering, cybersecurity and cloud teams.
Follow automotive software processes and standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262, AUTOSAR).
