Zirak in Italy is seeking a Junior Embedded Software Engineer to support the development and integration of connected-vehicle solutions, including OTA updates, telematics, V2X and infotainment. You will develop and maintain embedded software for in-vehicle modules, test protocols, and collaborate with hardware, cybersecurity and cloud teams, following ASPICE/ISO standards.

This role requires a degree and 1–2 years in automotive embedded software; strong C/C++, Python, Git/JIRA skills, with

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• 1–2 years of professional embedded software development experience, preferably in automotive.
• Strong C and C++ programming skills.
• Experience with Python scripting.
• Knowledge of embedded software development, integration, testing and debugging practices.
• Experience with Git.
• Experience with JIRA.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain embedded software components for in-vehicle connectivity modules, including TCU and infotainment systems.
• Implement, integrate and test automotive and wireless communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, cellular).
• Support the development of connected-vehicle functionalities (OTA updates, telematics, V2X).
• Contribute to software integration, debugging, testing and issue resolution on embedded automotive platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional hardware, systems engineering, cybersecurity and cloud teams.
• Follow automotive software development processes and standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262, AUTOSAR).
