Zirak in Mantova, Lombardy, Italy, is seeking a Junior Embedded Software Engineer to support automotive connectivity projects.

You will develop and maintain embedded components for in-vehicle systems, focusing on CAN/LIN, Ethernet, Bluetooth, and OTA updates. Join a team working across hardware, cybersecurity and cloud interfaces, adhering to AUTOSAR, ASPICE and ISO 26262 standards, with smart working options.

Competenze

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
1–2 years of embedded software development experience, preferably in automotive.
Strong C and C++ programming skills.
Experience with Python scripting.
Knowledge of embedded software development, testing and debugging.
Version-control experience (Git) and issue-tracking tools (JIRA).
Good English communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Mansioni

Develop and maintain embedded software for in-vehicle connectivity modules (TCU, infotainment).
Implement and test automotive protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, cellular).
Support OTA updates, telematics and V2X functionalities.
Integrate and debug software on embedded automotive platforms; assist validation.
Collaborate with hardware, cybersecurity and cloud teams; follow ASPICE/ISO 26262/AUTOSAR.
