Piab Group in Turin, Italy, is seeking a Junior Area Sales Manager to support the Vacuum Automation division across Northwestern Italy. You will develop customer relationships, learn product applications, and help grow our regional sales and margins with guidance from an internal tutor.

The role emphasizes traveling up to ~70%, collaborating with OEMs, distributors, and system integrators, and participating in trade shows. A technical degree and fluent Italian with good English are required.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to sales growth for the Vacuum Automation product portfolio across Northwestern Italy.
• Develop and maintain relationships with OEMs, system integrators, distributors, and end customers, with support from the internal tutor and wider sales team.
• Identify new business opportunities in target industries such as automation, packaging, robotics, automotive, electronics, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, logistics, and general manufacturing.
• Support the building and management of a strong sales pipeline to achieve agreed sales and margin targets.
• Conduct customer visits, technical discussions, product presentations, and solution demonstrations with guidance when needed.
• Learn to understand customer applications and propose suitable vacuum automation solutions with support from technical teams.
• Work closely with internal teams including customer service, marketing, product management, engineering, and operations to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer needs, and business opportunities.
• Support and develop channel partners through joint customer visits, product training, sales planning, and opportunity follow-up.
• Prepare regular sales forecasts, visit reports, pipeline updates, and business development plans.
• Participate in trade shows, customer events, and industry exhibitions when required.
