Job summary

Volvo Penta Industrial is seeking an Area Sales Manager to develop sales of industrial engines and power systems across Italy and wider South Europe. You will build long-term partnerships with global OEMs and translate customer needs into sustainable, profitable business.

You will negotiate, set regional pricing, and collaborate with technical teams to ensure optimal solutions. Regular travel within the region and occasional travel abroad are expected.

Qualifications

• University or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in B2B sales and commercial negotiations.
• Good technical understanding of diesel engines, electrification and electronic control systems.
• English is the official working language; daily use of Dutch and English.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the region.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Italian mother tongue; Spanish and French knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales of industrial engines for generator sets across Italy and wider South Europe.
• Engage with global OEM partners and identify new business opportunities.
• Conduct commercial negotiations and set regional pricing.
• Collaborate with technical specialists to offer right solutions for customers.
