Mammoet is seeking a Sales Manager Italy to translate complex engineering needs into competitive proposals and to grow the Italian market.

You will engage clients at technical levels, collaborate with engineering and operations, and drive full sales cycles from first contact to signed contracts across the energy, petrochemical and infrastructure sectors in Italy. Fluency in Italian and English is required, with willingness to travel within Italy.

Qualifikationen

• 1-5 years in a Sales Manager or technical sales role with proven ability to manage client relationships and develop proposals.
• Degree in engineering or technical discipline (Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, or similar).
• Commercial mindset — understands client needs, how to position solutions, and what it takes to win projects.
• Strong listening, questioning, and clear communication of technical information.

Aufgaben

• Translate technical client needs into clear, accurate project proposals.
• Support full sales process from first contact and site visits to offers and follow-ups.
• Maintain regular client contact to identify opportunities and ensure satisfaction.
• Visit client sites to assess requirements and gather input for engineering and operations.
• Build relationships across energy, petrochemicals, and infrastructure sectors.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to develop competitive proposals.
• Manage contract preparation, bid submissions and commercial negotiations.
• Act as bridge between client and internal teams to reflect requirements in proposals.
• Engage with international stakeholders to align on inputs.
• Monitor market developments and flag opportunities in Italy.
