CHEP is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead new business growth across Italy. This hunter role will identify opportunities, open doors, build relationships, negotiate commercial agreements and win profitable business.
You will own the entire customer journey—from prospecting and closing deals to onboarding and expansion during the early stages of the relationship. The position offers ownership of the Italian market, opportunities within a European commercial team,
Competenze
- Fluent Italian and business-level English required.
- Proven success in B2B business development and hunting for new customers.
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building and solution-selling skills.
- Experience in logistics, packaging, pooling, supply chain or related industries.
Mansioni
- Develop and execute a territory growth strategy for Italy.
- Prospect and win new customers across targeted sectors.
- Lead complex commercial negotiations and RFQ/RFI processes.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle.
- Work with operations, customer service, sales and product teams.
