Job summary

Cross Border Talents is seeking Italian-speaking Banking & Financial Services Specialists in Lisbon, Portugal. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling inquiries via phone, email and chat while delivering exceptional service.

The role is a 12-month contracted, full-time position with 8-hour rotating shifts from Monday to Sunday. Benefits include health insurance, flight reimbursement and language classes as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Fluent Italian and good English communication.
• Strong customer-focused approach and empathy.
• Experience in banking, financial services, customer service or contact centres is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle enquiries via phone, email and chat with a view to first-contact resolution.
• Manage customer cases from start to finish, including complex requests.
• Provide support with banking transactions, fraud-related cases, disputes and chargebacks.
• Handle complaints professionally with fair outcomes.
• Identify and support vulnerable customers and adapt approach as needed.
• Follow procedures while exercising judgment in complex situations.
• Share knowledge and provide feedback to improve processes.
• Adapt quickly to changing customer and business needs.
