Carolinas Medical Center is seeking an IT Program Manager for a 40-hour work week in a full-time onsite role. The position focuses on overseeing hardware and software evaluations, coordinating with departments, and managing IT project budgets.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Business or Information Technology, at least three years in information technology or project management, including one year supervising staff and budgets. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years in information technology and/or project management, including 1 year of supervisory experience in managing staff and budgets in an Information Technology environment
• Demonstrated project management expertise
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the demonstrated ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization

Responsabilités

• Researches, evaluates and recommends hardware and software products that will enhance the capabilities of the organization's information systems
• Liaise with functional or operational area managers to understand their current and future information needs and determine how information systems should be installed, configured and maintained to best meet these needs
• Ensures that applications and infrastructure are current and available to support business operations
• Ensures that technology problems and service requests are resolved in accordance with service level objectives and information systems policies
• Interacts regularly with site/region executives, service line and operational leaders to collect and understand new business needs
