Job summary

Amazon Inc. Italy seeks an IT Support Engineer to ensure IT infrastructure runs smoothly and to troubleshoot issues across operations. You will work on-site, support end-user equipment and the building IT infrastructure, and mentor IT technicians while contributing to network projects and system improvements.

You’ll base at site with travel to other sites, possibly internationally, and collaborate with remote and on-site colleagues. Strong Italian (C1) and English (B2) are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
• Experience troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment.
• Experience in IT client, server, and network service delivery.
• Experience with networking technology (TCP/IP, subnetting, DNS and DHCP).
• Experience supporting Windows, Mac and/or Linux operating systems in a corporate setting.
• Valid EU driver's license.
• Advanced proficiency in Italian (C1 level) and English (B2 level), verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Support end-user equipment and your building’s IT infrastructure.
• Help with key network projects, like the IT setup of new Amazon buildings.
• Suggest new processes that improve the way Amazon uses IT in its operational sites.
• Train and mentor IT technicians.
