Job summary

Adecco is seeking a talented intern to join the Purchasing team in the Industrial Services department of a global tyre industry leader. This internship offers hands-on experience in the sourcing cycle within an international environment, under the guidance of your tutor.

You will analyze costs, support KPI development, and collaborate with Regional Procurement teams and multiple internal functions to drive value and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, or related disciplines.
• Fluency in English and Italian.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive attitude and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and international environment.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the identification of spending areas and the organization of purchasing processes to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Performing cost analysis and developing market benchmarks to support sourcing decisions.
• Supporting the preparation of internal reports, monitoring procurement activities, and elaborating KPIs.
• Collaborating with Regional Procurement teams and interacting with Legal, Tax, Administration, R&D, and Manufacturing.
• Supporting supplier management activities, including evaluation of supplier performance.
• Contributing to sourcing projects and procurement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness.

Main Activities
