Pirelli & C. S.p.A. is offering an internship in the Purchasing Direct Material Buyer area in Milan.

You will join the Purchasing team and gain hands-on experience across the sourcing cycle while supporting supplier management, cost analysis, and internal reporting in a fast-paced environment. The program is designed for a Master’s degree student with fluency in English and Italian, plus proficiency with Office tools, and provides an international, growth-oriented setting with development

Competenze

• Master’s degree in engineering, economics or related field.
• Fluency in English and Italian.
• Proficiency in using Office.

Mansioni

• Support in the sourcing cycle within Direct Material procurement.
• Participate in cost analysis and benchmarking activities.
• Assist in Supplier Management and evaluation of supplier performance.
• Support internal reporting of results.
• Collaborate with Regions' procurement teams and other internal functions.

DRIVE YOUR FUTURE

You will join the Purchasing team, within the Direct Material department, and will have the opportunity to be involved in all the activities related to the sourcing cycle, according to company needs and to the general agreements with the suppliers. This internship offers hands‑on experience, providing a unique opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

You will collaborate with your tutor in:

• Collaborate in the identification of spending areas and organization of buying processes with the goal of identifying cost savings.
• Collaborate in activities like cost analysis and set of appropriate benchmarks.
• Collaborate to Supplier Management and continuous evaluation/assessment of supplier performance.
• Supporting the internal reporting of results
• Cooperate with all Regions' procurement teams and other internal functions (e.g., Legal, R&D, Administration, etc.)

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Master’s degree in engineering, economics or related field
• Fluency in English and Italian
• Proficiency in using Office.
