Job summary

Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A. is offering a 6-month full-time internship in the EHS department at the Bologna site. The role reports to the Manager Manufacturing Sustainability and is based in Bologna (Crespellano, BO).

You will assist in implementing Sustainability and EHS initiatives, support awareness campaigns, and help build dashboards using Excel and Power BI. Eligible candidates should hold a degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability or Safety

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Safety Engineering or related fields.
• Strong literacy in Excel, Power BI is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Fluency in English and Italian is mandatory and will be tested during the interview.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of Sustainability and EHS initiatives and tools across the factory.
• Support managers and supervisors in promoting awareness on Sustainability policies, procedures and continuous improvement activities.
• Collaborate in identifying improvement opportunities within ongoing Sustainability projects.
• Support the creation and improvement of dashboards and data models in Excel (advanced) and Power BI (preferred).
• Participate in site inspections, walkthroughs and routine Sustainability activities, supporting data gathering and documentation.

Your Role

As an Intern you will be part of our EHS Department for Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A and will be reporting to Manager Manufacturing Sustainability. The position will be based in Bologna.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in the implementation of Sustainability and EHS initiatives and tools across the factory;
• Support managers and supervisors in promoting awareness on Sustainability policies, procedures and continuous improvement activities;
• Collaborate in identifying improvement opportunities, weaknesses or emerging issues within ongoing Sustainability projects;
• Support the creation and improvement of dashboards and data models in Excel (advanced) and Power BI (preferred);
• Participate in site inspections, walkthroughs and routine Sustainability activities, supporting the team in data gathering and documentation (no autonomous risk assessment or formal evaluations).

Skills & Capabilities

• Degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Safety Engineering or related fields;;
• Strong literacy in Excel, Power BI is a plus ;
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities;
• Fluency in English and in Italian is mandatory, and will be tested throughout the interview process.
