Job summary

Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A is offering an internship in the EHS Department in Bologna. You will report to the Manager Manufacturing Sustainability and work on Sustainability and EHS initiatives at the Bologna site.

The role involves building dashboards in Excel and Power BI, supporting managers, and participating in site inspections. The internship lasts 6 months and pays a monthly allowance of €900; English and Italian fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability or Safety Engineering.
• Fluency in English and Italian; strong communication skills required.
• Experience with dashboard tools and data models is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing Sustainability and EHS initiatives across the factory.
• Support managers in promoting awareness of Sustainability policies and continuous improvement.
• Identify improvement opportunities within ongoing Sustainability projects.
• Create and improve dashboards and data models in Excel (advanced) and Power BI (preferred).

Your Role

As an Intern you will be part of our EHS Department for Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A and will be reporting to Manager Manufacturing Sustainability. The position will be based in Bologna.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in the implementation of Sustainability and EHS initiatives and tools across the factory;
• Support managers and supervisors in promoting awareness on Sustainability policies, procedures and continuous improvement activities;
• Collaborate in identifying improvement opportunities, weaknesses or emerging issues within ongoing Sustainability projects;
• Support the creation and improvement of dashboards and data models in Excel (advanced) and Power BI (preferred);
• Participate in site inspections, walkthroughs and routine Sustainability activities, supporting the team in data gathering and documentation (no autonomous risk assessment or formal evaluations).

Skills & Capabilities

• Degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Safety Engineering or related fields;;
• Strong literacy in Excel, Power BI is a plus ;
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities;
• Fluency in English and in Italian is mandatory, and will be tested throughout the interview process.
