Philip Morris International in Bologna is offering a Manufacturing Intern role within the IMPACT - Italy Internship Program. You will analyze data using Power BI and Excel to generate insights supporting daily operations on the production floor.

You will work with operators, identify trends, and contribute to continuous improvement projects. The internship lasts 6 months, full-time, with a monthly allowance of €900 beginning November 2026.

Qualifications

• University degree in Mechanical/Management Engineering or equivalent.
• Literacy in Office Suite.
• Fluency in English and in Italian.
• Strong analytical, planning and organization skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong team-player mindset and willingness to work with different functions.

Responsabilités

• Update manufacturing KPIs on the dashboard every morning.
• Track activities and impact of Bay team members.
• Drive improvement projects that positively impact manufacturing KPIs.
• Create Power BI dashboards to track Process Support team deliverables.
• Prepare and release, under supervision, task instructions or technical procedures.

Your Role

As Intern in Manufacturing, you will be part of our Manufacturing Department in Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna, and you will leverage your ability to analyze data and your proficiency with Power BI and Excel to generate clear insights that support daily operations, apply analytical skills to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, collaborating directly with operators and spending time on the production floor to fully understand processes and challenges and explore new solutions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
