Job summary

JINGDONG Logistics is seeking a lead for inbound operations within our warehouse network. You will supervise a team of inbound associates, ensure accurate receiving, unloading, sorting, and storage of incoming goods, and drive workflow efficiency in a fast-paced setting.

You will monitor performance, conduct reviews, uphold safety and quality standards, and collaborate with outbound and inventory control to maintain seamless operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years in warehouse operations with 1–2 years in supervision inbound.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inbound associates to hit daily targets.
• Oversee receiving, unloading, sorting and storage of inbound goods.

Job Summary**

Lead and supervise a team of inbound associates, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of incoming goods and materials within JD.com's warehouse operations. This role focuses on optimizing workflow, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a productive team environment.

Job Responsibilities**

• Supervise, train, and motivate a team of inbound associates to achieve daily performance targets and operational goals.
• Oversee the receiving, unloading, sorting, and storage of incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company procedures.
• Monitor inbound processes for efficiency and identify areas for improvement, implementing solutions to optimize workflow and reduce cycle times.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality control standards within the inbound department.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate professional development for team members.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as outbound and inventory control, to ensure seamless operational flow.
• Resolve daily operational issues and elevate complex problems to management as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of inbound activities, including inventory discrepancies and team performance metrics.
• Participate in the development and implementation of new inbound procedures and technologies.

Job Qualifications**

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or team lead role within an inbound logistics environment.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by operational needs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.
