Job summary

JINGDONG Logistics in Italy seeks an In Stock Specialist Supervisor to lead inventory optimization across the JD.com supply chain. You will manage a team, coordinate with procurement and warehousing, and drive measures to minimize stockouts and improve turns.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in inventory management with leadership experience, strong analytical skills, and ERP proficiency. English and Mandarin fluency are preferred in our fast-paced ecommerce environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
• 3–5 years in inventory/supply chain ops, with 1–2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, forecasting, and cross-functional processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of In Stock Specialists to ensure optimal product availability.
• Monitor KPIs for in-stock rates, inventory levels, and stockouts; implement corrective actions.
• Develop and execute inventory strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs.
• Analyze sales data, forecast demand, and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment.
• Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and slow-moving stock.
• Collaborate with warehousing, logistics, and supply chain partners to streamline flows.

This role focuses on minimizing out-of-stock situations, optimizing inventory turns, and collaborating with various departments to maintain a seamless flow of goods.Job Responsibilities*** Supervise, train, and mentor a team of In Stock Specialists, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment.* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to in-stock rates, inventory levels, and stockout frequency, implementing corrective actions as needed.* Develop and execute inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels, reduce carrying costs, and improve product availability.* Analyze sales data, forecast demand, and collaborate with procurement and merchandising teams to ensure timely replenishment of products.* Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, slow-moving inventory, and potential stockout risks.* Implement and enforce inventory control procedures, including cycle counting and perpetual inventory systems.* Collaborate with warehousing, logistics, and supply chain partners to streamline inbound and outbound inventory flows.* Generate regular reports on inventory performance, highlighting areas for improvement and presenting recommendations to management.* Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in inventory management.Job Qualifications*** Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or a related operational role, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.* Strong understanding of inventory control principles, forecasting methodologies, and supply chain operations.* Proficiency in inventory management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.* Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team building, coaching, and performance management.* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic e-commerce environment.* Fluency in Mandarin and English is preferred.At JINGDONG Logistics, we’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
