Job summary

JINGDONG Logistics is seeking a proactive inbound team supervisor to optimize receiving, unloading, and storage within our JD.com warehouse operations.

You will lead a motivated team, drive safety, quality, and productivity, coordinate with outbound and inventory control, and report to management.

Experience in warehouse operations, WMS proficiency, and strong communication are essential; willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of warehouse operations experience with 1–2 years in a supervisory/lead role in inbound logistics.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with WMS and inventory control; ability to drive safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and motivate a team of inbound associates to meet daily targets and operational goals.
• Oversee receiving, unloading, sorting, and storage of inbound inventory with accuracy and adherence to procedures.
• Monitor inbound processes, identify improvements, and implement solutions to optimize workflow and reduce cycle times.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in the inbound department.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to support team development.
• Collaborate with outbound and inventory control to ensure seamless operational flow.
• Tackle daily operational issues and escalate complex problems as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of inbound activities and performance metrics.
• Participate in rolling out new inbound procedures and technologies.

Job Summary

Lead and supervise a team of inbound associates, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of incoming goods and materials within JD.com's warehouse operations. This role focuses on optimizing workflow, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a productive team environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and motivate a team of inbound associates to achieve daily performance targets and operational goals.
• Oversee the receiving, unloading, sorting, and storage of incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company procedures.
• Monitor inbound processes for efficiency and identify areas for improvement, implementing solutions to optimize workflow and reduce cycle times.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality control standards within the inbound department.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate professional development for team members.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as outbound and inventory control, to ensure seamless operational flow.
• Resolve daily operational issues and elevate complex problems to management as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of inbound activities, including inventory discrepancies and team performance metrics.
• Participate in the development and implementation of new inbound procedures and technologies.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or team lead role within an inbound logistics environment.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by operational needs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.
