Tenova S.p.A. in Castellanza, Italy, is seeking a Proposal Engineer to join our Cold Rolling Downstream Team, supporting the preparation and coordination of technical offers aligned with client requirements, internal standards and cost estimates.

You will coordinate proposal development, define layouts, analyze risks and interface with Engineering to consolidate documents, material lists and scope, ensuring consistency with cost estimates.

Competenze

• Degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Automation Engineering.
• Knowledge of contract types and their main features, including international contracts.
• Knowledge of CRM and SAP is mandatory.
• CAD Software, basic automation and data analysis tools is considered a plus.
• Fluent English is mandatory (written and spoken).
• Strong teamwork, proactivity, and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

Mansioni

• Coordinate the technical development of proposals, ensuring alignment between client specifications, internal standards, and supplier input.
• Define and validate preliminary plant layouts, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and technical constraints.
• Support risk analysis activities, contributing to the identification of technical and execution risks.
• Interface with Engineering to consolidate technical documentation, material lists, and scope definition.
• Ensure consistency between technical scope and cost estimates, identifying gaps or optimization opportunities.
• Prepare and integrate technical documentation for the final offer submission.
• Monitor progress of proposal development, ensuring timely execution and corrective actions when required.
• Contribute to the evaluation of suppliers’ quotations and technical alignment.
• Collaborate with Proposal, Technical and Commercial Managers in the final validation and submission of the offer.
• Provide feedback to R&D on product improvements and innovation opportunities.
• Contribute to market and technology monitoring within the cold rolling sector.
