Tenova S.p.A. is seeking a Mechanical Project Designer to join the Melt Shops Team in Castellanza. The role focuses on 2D/3D design, detailed engineering, and coordinating external studios in a high-technology environment.

The candidate will work on design for manufacturability, layout planning, and verification analyses. The position requires Autodesk CAD tools like AutoCAD and Inventor, plus FEM knowledge, with English proficiency and willingness to travel.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical design or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Experience in mechanical design is required.
• Knowledge of Autodesk software (AutoCAD, Inventor) is essential.
• Experience in steel industry or heavy mechanical projects is a plus.

Mansioni

• Design in 2D and 3D formats considering customer requirements, timing, quality, and manufacturability.
• Prepare layouts showing equipment installation at client sites.
• Develop all mechanical aspects and prepare basic/detailed engineering.
• Estimate weights and develop bills of materials for structures/equipment.
• Coordinate external studios and manage timing and progress.
• Ensure designs comply with regulations and integrate civil works.
• Review 2D drawings into 3D models and perform verification analyses.
• Lead, when needed, inspections at suppliers/sites and drive technical requirements.
