Danieli Centro Tube in Italy seeks a Senior Technical Sales Proposal Service to reinforce the area. This on-site role requires travel nationally and internationally, with responsibilities for accurate cost definitions and timely proposals that meet customer expectations and business goals.

The candidate will work closely with Engineering and Supply Chain, translating requirements into actionable project plans, while using CAD tools and MS Office to prepare compelling offers.

Competenze

• Must be capable of independently preparing cost estimations and commercial offers for spare parts and equipment.
• Proficient in reviewing customer drawings and specifications, identifying inconsistencies, and proposing improvements.
• Supports Sales by identifying technical risks and coordinating with Engineering and Supply Chain.
• Experience liaising with Workshops, global Supply Chain teams and international plant operations.
• Competent in Microsoft Office Suite and basic CAD tools.
• Able to read mechanical, electrical and hydraulic drawings and draft technical specs.
• Knowledge of pipe production/maintenance processes is a plus.
• Cost estimation of complete machines or sub-assemblies for performance improvements in collaboration with UT/UTC.
• Italian and English language proficiency (minimum B2).

We are currently looking for a Technical Sales Proposal Service - Senior to reinforce our Danieli Centro Tube area.

Type of work: 100% On-site with availability for national and international travels

Responsibilities

The Service Proposal reports to the Head of Service DCT and plays a key role in shaping successful service engagements by managing the critical proposal phase and ensuring a seamless transition to project execution.

In this role, the specialist is responsible for the accurate definition of costs and delivery timelines for spare parts lists assigned during the proposal stage. The focus is on building competitive, reliable offers that align with customer expectations and business objectives.

By maintaining close alignment with the execution team, the Service Proposal ensures that customer requirements are clearly translated into actionable project plans, supporting smooth delivery and high satisfaction.

Technical Requirements

• Independent Proposal Development: Skilled in independently preparing cost estimations/commercial offers for spare parts and equipment with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Customer Request Analysis: Proficient in reviewing and interpreting customer drawings and specifications, identifying inconsistencies or omissions, and proposing technical enhancements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Supports the Sales team by identifying technical risks and coordinating with Engineering and Supply Chain departments to define effective solutions.
• Global Interface: Experienced in liaising with Workshops, global Supply Chain teams, and international plant operations.
• Software Proficiency: Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Project) and basic CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD).
• Technical Documentation: Capable of reading, analyzing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic drawings and drafting technical specifications
• Industry Experience: Familiarity with seamless and welded pipe production/long products and maintenance processes is considered a plus.
• Small Revamping Area: Cost estimation of complete machines or sub-assemblies with improved features, aimed at enhancing plant performance in terms of output, quality, and operational efficiency (OPEX) in collaboration with the Technical and Engineering departments (UT and UTC).
• Language Proficiency: Italian and English (minimum B2 level)

The company applies the National Collective Agreement for the Metalworking Industry. The gross annual salary for this position starts from € 65.000 and will be defined based on objective and neutral criteria, such as professional experience, skills, and the level of autonomy required by the role.
