Job summary

Tenova S.p.A. is seeking an Electrical Designer to join the Technical Department in Castellanza (VA) to drive electrical design for Pomini roll grinders and related equipment.

You will work in a dynamic, multicultural environment with onboarding support and progressively take responsibility for design work across projects. Expect involvement in specifications analysis, FEED, and proposals, plus collaboration with suppliers and customers.

Qualifications

• Technical High School Diploma in Electrical Engineering or degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Knowledge of electrical design tools (SPAC preferred).
• Familiarity with PLM (Product Life Management) systems; SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge of Siemens tools (TIA Selection Tool, Sizer, Sinamics).
• Knowledge of electrical standards (IEC, NFPA, UL, CSA).
• Knowledge of ISO 13849 and safety Performance Levels; ISO 16089:2015; Machinery Regulation 2023/1230.

Responsibilities

• Design basic and detailed electrical designs of standard machines and revamps per customer requirements.
• Size electrical components (motors, drives, transformers) and prepare BOMs and cable lists.
• Prepare diagrams and layout drawings; ensure compliance with EU and NA directives and standards.
• Coordinate external design consultants and validate their deliverables.
• Support sales in technical and commercial proposals; participate in meetings; travel for short trips.
