Tenneco in Chivasso, Italy, is seeking a motivated Process Engineer to define, optimize, and industrialize cold stamping processes for automotive components. You will work closely with Production, Quality, Tooling and Maintenance to ensure process stability, safety, quality, and cost targets.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in automotive stamping, a mechanical engineering degree, and strong knowledge of Lean, APQP, PFMEA, SPC and GD&T.

Competenze

  • Experience as a Process Engineer in stamping for automotive components.
  • Familiar with IATF 16949 and Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA).
  • Strong Lean and continuous improvement mindset.
  • English and Italian language proficiency.

Mansioni

  • Define, develop, and optimize stamping processes for automotive components.
  • Support industrialization of new products and equipment and tooling.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Tooling and Maintenance to ensure process stability.
  • Analyze production performance and identify improvements in efficiency, scrap, downtime, and costs.
  • Define process parameters, standards, and work instructions.
  • Lead PFMEA, Process Flow Charts, and Control Plans for new projects.
  • Manage production trials, feasibility studies, and validations.
  • Apply 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, and PDCA problem-solving methods.
