Job summary

BAT is seeking an E-commerce Intern to join the South Europe Area E-commerce team in Rome, supporting campaigns, content management and data analysis from day one. Gain exposure to CRM, Brand and Supply Chain while delivering real business impact.

You will work on digital analytics, A/B testing and feature implementations, with guidance from experienced professionals and a competitive internship allowance. Fluency in English and Italian is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Digital Management, Engineering or related disciplines.
• Strong interest in Digital Commerce, Customer Experience and online consumer behaviour.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into recommendations.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn in a dynamic business environment.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics 4, experience with Adobe Analytics, Magento, Shopify
• Understanding of AI powered tools, including Microsoft Copilot is considered a plus.
• Fluency in English and Italian.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, execution and monitoring of eCommerce campaigns and promotional activities.
• Assist in website content management and product catalogue optimization.
• Analyze website performance, customer behaviour and campaign results using digital analytics tools.
• Support A/B testing and personalization initiatives aimed at improving conversion and customer experience.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders including CRM, Brand, Supply Chain, Legal and external agencies.
• Contribute to the implementation of new digital features, product launches and customer-facing initiatives.
• Prepare performance reports, business analyses and executive presentations.
• Monitor competitor activities, digital trends and ecommerce best practices.
