Job summary

Marsh Risk in Milan is seeking an Insurance Asset Valuation Consultant to join the Forensic Accounting and Claims Services (FACS) team. You will collect data, inspect assets, and estimate values for insurance and tax purposes, delivering reports that support risk management and decision making.

Candidates have a technical degree, asset valuation experience, fluency in Italian and English, and strong project management skills. Travel within Italy and abroad is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical discipline, preferably civil or mechanical engineering.
• Proven asset valuation experience, preferably in insurance, financial, or risk contexts.
• Fluent in written and spoken Italian and English.
• Excellent project management, client orientation and teamwork.
• Willingness to travel within Italy and abroad.

Responsibilities

• Understand client needs, collect data, and prepare commercial proposals.
• Collect, validate, and structure large data sets for asset valuation.
• Conduct site inspections of assets to be valued and gather information.
• Estimate value of buildings, plants, machinery for insurance and tax purposes.
• Prepare accurate valuation reports in line with industry standards.
• Present structured valuation reports for insurance, accounting and legal use.
• Manage client relationships and provide technical risk management support.
• Work independently and in project teams to meet milestones and deadlines.
• Ensure data governance and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Utilize data management tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
