myPOS is seeking an HR Generalist to act as the point of reference for all people matters in Italy. You will own recruitment, payroll, employment documentation and benefits, working with local managers and international HR teams.

Responsibilities include end-to-end Italian recruitment (sales focus), coordinating payroll with Deel, handling CCNL compliance, and administering contracts and benefits with strict data accuracy.

Competenze

• Experience running full recruitment processes, especially for sales roles.
• Experience preparing Italian payroll inputs and coordinating with external payroll providers.
• Good knowledge of Italian labour law, CCNL, and employment documentation.
• Strong stakeholder management and advisory communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and data quality/compliance (GDPR).
• Familiarity with ATS, HR and payroll systems and multi-country environments.

About the role:

We are looking for an HR Generalist to be the point of reference for all people matters in Italy: recruitment, payroll, employment documentation and benefits. You will work closely with local managers, and with our international HR and Payroll teams. A varied, hands‑on role with real ownership – from finding the right people to making sure they are paid

What you’ll do:

Talent Acquisition

• Partner with hiring managers in Italy to define needs, agree a realistic hiring plan and advise on profiles, channels and process;
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for all open positions in Italy (with a strong focus on sales and business development roles), ensuring a consistent and professional candidate experience;
• Build a local talent pipeline through direct sourcing, referrals and partner networks; keep the ATS up to date and track key KPIs (time-to-hire, sourcing mix);
• Manage the offer process with hiring managers and ensure a smooth handover to onboarding;

Payroll

• Prepare, validate and consolidate monthly payroll inputs for Italy; coordinate processing with our external payroll provider (Deel), check outputs and resolve discrepancies;
• Ensure compliance with Italian tax, social security, labour law and collective agreement (CCNL) requirements, including statutory filing deadlines;
• Act as payroll contact for Finance and Accounting; provide data for month-end close, accruals and audits;

Employment & Benefits Administration

• Prepare employment contracts, amendments, job changes and terminations in line with Italian labour law; keep employee records and absence tracking accurate in our HR system (BambooHR);
• Administer employee benefits (health insurance, meal vouchers, allowances) and ensure deductions are correctly reflected in payroll;
• Be the first point of contact for employees in Italy on payroll, documentation and benefits questions;
• Keep processes documented and propose improvements to how we recruit, pay and administer people in Italy.

This role is perfect for you if you have:

• Hands-on experience running full recruitment processes, ideally for sales profiles, with several searches open at the same time;
• Solid experience preparing Italian payroll inputs and working with an external payroll provider;
• Good knowledge of Italian labour law, CCNL and employment documentation;
• Good knowledge of the Italian labour market and sourcing techniques;
• Excellent Italian and a fluent command of professional English;
• Comfortable with ATS, HR and payroll systems and MS Excel, with attention to data quality, confidentiality and GDPR;
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with an advisory approach;
• Proactive, organised and solution-oriented, with a strong bias for action.

Nice to have

• Experience with Deel or BambooHR;
• Experience in an international, multi-country company;
• Immediate or short-term availability.
