Medacta International in Lombardia, Italy seeks an HR Generalist with solid experience in managing HR activities, including payroll processes, cost monitoring and budget planning, as well as talent acquisition.

The role covers HR administration, payroll coordination with external consultants, labor law compliance, budgeting, and full recruitment for technical/manufacturing profiles, with English proficiency and strong Excel and HRIS skills.

Qualificações

• Degree in Economics, HR, Law or related field.
• 5+ years in generalist or HR roles with hands‑on payroll and labour cost analysis.
• Excellent knowledge of Italian employment law and, preferably, metalworking NCBA.
• Experience in preparing and monitoring personnel budgets and forecasts.
• Experience in Talent Acquisition for technical/manufacturing profiles.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and HR/payroll systems.

We are looking for an HR Generalist with solid experience in managing the main HR activities, preferably gained in an industrial environment.

The role will be involved in both personnel administration and people management activities, with particular focus on payroll processes, cost monitoring and budget planning, as well as Talent Acquisition activities.

Key Responsibilities

HR Administration & Payroll

• Manage and oversee personnel administration activities, ensuring the correct application of labour legislation and the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
• Coordinate and verify the payroll processing cycle in collaboration with external consultants.
• Manage the administrative aspects of hiring, contractual changes, terminations and other employment-related events.
• Monitor attendance, absences, overtime and other variable elements of remuneration.
• Support the management of employment‑law matters and employee relations.
• Manage activities relating to medical certificates.

HR Controlling & Budget

• Manage the preparation and monitoring of the annual personnel cost budget and related forecasts.
• Analyse personnel costs, budget variances and key HR indicators.
• Prepare periodic reports.

Talent Acquisition

• Manage the full recruitment process, from gathering requirements with Hiring Managers through to the onboarding of new hires.
• Post job advertisements, screen CVs and conduct selection interviews.
• Collaborate with functional managers to identify the profiles best suited to business needs, with particular focus on technical and manufacturing roles.
• Coordinate relationships with recruitment agencies and other external partners.
• Support the onboarding of new employees.

Candidate Profile

Education And Technical Skills

• Degree in Economics, Human Resources, Law or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in generalist or specialist HR roles, with hands‑on experience in payroll processes and labour cost analysis. Excellent knowledge of Italian employment law and, preferably, the National Collective Labour Agreement for the Metalworking Industry.
• Experience in preparing and monitoring personnel budgets and forecasts.
• Experience in managing Talent Acquisition processes, preferably for technical and manufacturing profiles.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and familiarity with HR and payroll management systems.
