Job summary

Planet Pharma is seeking an Area Sales Manager for Orthopaedics in Southern Italy, basing in Naples/on-site. The role collaborates with surgeons, theatre teams and hospital stakeholders to grow the hip and knee portfolio across private and public hospitals.

You will demonstrate products, run training sessions, and develop key accounts while travelling extensively through Southern Italy. Fluent Italian and strong English are required for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience selling or supporting hip and knee orthopaedic implants.
• Fluent Italian and good English language skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout Southern Italy.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow accounts across Southern Italy in hip and knee arthroplasty.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within public and private hospitals.
• Provide clinical support to surgeons and theatre teams during procedures.
• Deliver product demonstrations, training sessions and education programmes.
• Build strong relationships with surgeons, procurement teams and hospital decision-makers.
• Analyse market trends and competitor activity to drive territory growth.
• Collaborate with clinical, marketing and leadership teams to achieve regional sales targets.
