Job summary

Planet Pharma is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive growth in Central Italy for hip and knee arthroplasty products. You will work closely with orthopaedic surgeons, operating theatre teams and hospital stakeholders to expand market share and deliver clinical and commercial support.

The role involves managing accounts, identifying new opportunities, delivering demonstrations and educational workshops, and collaborating with internal teams to meet regional objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of orthopaedic implants experience.
• Experience supporting orthopaedic surgeons and hospital customers.
• Experience in operating theatres.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow existing accounts across Central Italy within hip/knee arthroplasty.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in public and private hospitals.
• Provide clinical support to surgeons and theatre teams during procedures.
• Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, training sessions and workshops.
• Build relationships with orthopaedic surgeons, procurement teams and hospital decision makers.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to develop territory strategies.
• Maintain high level of customer service and professional account management.
• Collaborate with clinical, marketing and leadership teams to achieve regional objectives.
