Why you, why now?

We are looking for a Head of Marketing (Italy) to lead and execute all marketing efforts for the Italian market. This role is critical in driving brand awareness, demand generation, and customer engagement while working closely with cross-functional teams to support business growth. You will own the execution of the marketing roadmap for Italy, ensuring a strong and cohesive approach across brand, growth channels, and field marketing.

About You

  • 7+ years experience, preferably proven experience in a B2B SaaS marketing leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in brand building, demand generation, and field marketing.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to both strategize and execute marketing initiatives.
  • Data-driven mindset with a strong understanding of marketing metrics and performance analysis.
  • Experience working closely with Sales and/or Customer Success teams to drive business growth.
  • Excellent communication skills in Italian and English.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building and scaling marketing functions.
  • A curious and proactive mindset, always eager to stay ahead of industry trends and regulations.
  • Willingness to step outside your comfort zone, while recognising when to seek support.
  • A results-driven approach, with a strong ability to set and achieve goals.
  • Familiarity with the employee benefits market or experience in a related sector is a plus.

The Role

On a typical day, you will...

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy tailored to the Italian market.
  • Own the end-to-end marketing roadmap, balancing brand positioning, growth marketing, and field marketing initiatives.
  • Work closely with local Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment and maximize impact.
  • Work closely with local merchants’ team to drive acquisition.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to understand competitors, industry trends, and customer needs.
  • Lead and optimize acquisition channels, including demand generation strategies (such as Account-Based Marketing) to drive an efficient pipeline with the growth team.
  • Manage and execute field marketing initiatives, including events, partnerships, and targeted activations.
  • Oversee and execute content marketing initiatives across social media, blog articles, sales collateral documents, and PR campaigns, ensuring effective promotion leading to increased brand awareness and perception.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing efforts, adapting global strategies to the local market.
  • Report insights to the Global Marketing team, collaborating on strategy and roadmap discussions.

Salary range

For this position, we have a fixed RAL of about €60,000 to €70,000, plus a generous welfare package (€6,000 - €7,000), meal allowance, and other benefits. The overall RAL equivalent value is approximately €70,000 - €85,000 plus stock options.
