Job summary

Navis Consulting is seeking an experienced Executive/Chief Housekeeper to lead the onboard Housekeeping Department on luxury cruise ships. You will drive impeccably high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and personalized guest service across all areas of the vessel.

The role requires strong leadership to manage a multicultural team, ensuring Forbes-style excellence and a guest-centric operation. Prior cruise experience is advantageous but not essential for the right luxury hospitality

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Executive/Chief Housekeeper or in a senior housekeeping leadership role.
• Strong background in ultra-luxury hospitality.
• Experience with Forbes standards or Forbes-rated properties preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and luxury guest expectations.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Cruise experience advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead all housekeeping operations onboard.
• Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout guest and crew areas.
• Deliver a consistently outstanding guest experience.
• Manage, coach, and develop an international housekeeping team.
• Monitor performance standards and departmental KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety procedures, and public health requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
