Meliá Hotels International is seeking a Head of Development for Italy & Malta, based in Milan. You will drive proactive research, analyze hotel opportunities, and negotiate with internal and external partners to incorporate projects via franchise or company expansion plans.

The role requires at least 5 years in a similar position, strong negotiation, and languages Italian and English. Travel 4–5 days per month and report to Development leadership.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the same position or similar role focused on negotiation processes.
• Experience in multinational environments, preferably in hotels, agencies, real estate, or hotel market consultants.
• Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory.
• Based in Milan; willingness to travel 4–5 days per month.
• Graduation in Economy, Tourism, or Law is preferred.

Mansioni

• Present projects internally for approval and define next steps.
• Prioritize projects according to the VP Development's strategy.
• Lead or support negotiations with owners and prepare necessary documentation.
• Build a strong network in the assigned area to support growth according to the expansion plan.
• Continuously analyze the market to identify growth opportunities and brand expansion.
