Cubico Sustainable Investments is seeking a Vice President, Construction to lead the delivery of wind, solar and BESS projects from late development through COD. The role reports to the Italy Country Manager and collaborates with development, legal and commercial teams to drive projects to NTP.

Competenze

Engineering degree or equivalent required.
Extensive experience in pre-construction and construction of utility-scale renewables.
Strong project management and negotiation skills.
Good understanding of commercial drivers and contracts in renewable energy.
Fluent in Italian; high English proficiency.

Mansioni

Manage the entire pre-construction phase from late development to notice to proceed, coordinating inputs from local and central teams.
Lead tendering and negotiation of EPC, BOP, Owner's Engineer and equipment contracts with cross-functional teams.
Define and optimize project information including schedule, CAPEX, OPEX and other technical assumptions.
Identify project risks and develop mitigation and realisation action plans.
Ensure Cubico governance processes and robust project documentation across all projects.
Lead construction activities and ensure safety, cost control, and timely delivery.
Interface with lenders' technical advisers, interconnection companies, owner’s engineer and others to manage relationships and contracts.
Plan transitions into operations and support resourcing for future Italian delivery teams.
