Job summary

Valmet is seeking a Travel Coordinator in Italy to support employees involved in global business activities. You will coordinate travel arrangements, manage travel-related administration, and collaborate with colleagues across functions and external partners worldwide.

The role offers exposure to SAP-driven processes, onboarding support for new hires, and a chance to develop expertise in reporting and employee services within an international industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Languages, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience in administration, travel arrangements, employee support, or similar roles.
• Knowledge of SAP is considered an advantage.
• Strong communication skills in Italian and English.
• Organized, proactive, and able to manage problems with accuracy and timeliness.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly timesheet processing and working-hour reporting for travelling field employees through SAP
• Review and process expense claims, travel costs, and related reporting in cooperation with Finance and Controlling
• Coordinate travel arrangements, visa applications, passport requests, rental cars, and corporate credit cards
• Support new hires during onboarding by collecting documentation, updating employee records, and providing travel-related guidance
• Assist employees during business trips and help resolve travel-related issues when they arise
