Job summary

Alfa Laval Mid Europe GmbH in Italy is seeking a Customer Care Specialist to manage the order-to-cash process for complex orders, coordinate warehousing and shipments, and ensure accurate invoicing. You will be the main contact for customers, suppliers, and internal teams, handling documentation, exports/imports, and keeping order statuses and delivery dates up to date.

The role requires strong organization, English proficiency, and ERP/Microsoft Office experience to support efficient operations

Qualifications

• Experience in customer care, order management or a similar operational role.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills with multiple orders to manage.
• Experience with ERP systems and MS Office; good English; Italian or other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the order-to-cash process for complex orders (components, projects, field service and service operations).
• Coordinate warehousing, shipments and invoicing; ensure on-time delivery and accurate invoices.
• Act as the main contact for customers, providing regular order-status updates and handling changes.
• Handle export/import documentation and customs procedures; monitor related costs and documentation.
• Maintain supplier database, monitor backlog and progress of open orders; follow up on claims and issues.
