Job summary

ALFA LAVAL in Italy seeks a Field Sales professional to drive business in the Center-South region, covering HVAC, Chemical, Refinery, Power, Oil & Gas, and Industrial Waste sectors with heat transfer and separation technology.

The role focuses on developing pipeline, visiting customers, and delivering value through technical and commercial solutions, working with cross-functional teams and partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience in an industrial sector.
• Some technical background is preferred.
• A valid driving license is required.
• Proficient with OneCRM and MS Office tools.
• Strong command of English (verbal and written).
• Good Windows and Office suite knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Follow established sales processes to promote and sell Alfa Laval products and services.
• Promote and penetrate heat transfer and separation technology in target industries.
• Analyze market insights and customer buying behaviour to plan sales strategies.
• Identify technical solutions for HVAC, Chemical, Refinery, Power, Oil & Gas, and Industrial Waste.
• Visit customers and engage in meetings to understand needs and demonstrate value of Alfa Laval solutions.
• Support sales activities and coach the partner network in the field.
• Develop value-based quotes reflecting customer needs and Alfa Laval differentiators.
• Grow the sales pipeline from market leads and convert to opportunities.

What about the job

The Candidate will develop and support Sales Business in the Center / South area of Italy within the HVAC, Chemical, Refinery, Power, Oil & Gas, Industrial Waste industries specifically in the heat transfer and separation technology.

He/she will be responsible for:

• Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval Products and services;
• Promoting, developing and securing penetration of heat transfer and separation technology sales and related applications
• Analyze and understand market insights and the customers buying behaviour and make sales plans according to the business division strategy and targets
• Identifying technical solutions for HVAC, Chemical, Refinery, Power, Oil & Gas, Industrial Waste processes for different customers segments
• Be active in the market and focus on making visits, meetings and interactions to customers, focusing on customer needs, understanding and highlighting the value of our products and services
• Supporting sales activity, visiting customers and propose technical/commercial solutions
• Supporting, coaching and developing the sales partner organization in the field.
• Developing value quotes reflecting the customer needs stressing the unique AL selling points and follow up;
• Looking for and managing leads from the market and customers, and convert them in real business opportunities in order to ensure a proper pipeline.

What you know

Priority will be given to:

• Previous working experience in Sales for at least 5 years in Industrial Sector
• Some Technical Background
• A driving license
• Use of OneCRM
• Good English language competency, verbal and written
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments and Office package (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

These considerations can cause your compensation to vary and will also be dependent on your location.The starting base salary for this role is 40.000€, CCNL METALWORKING.
