Job summary

Bending Spoons is seeking a talented lawyer to draft and negotiate cross-border contracts and provide pragmatic, risk-aware legal advice across the business. You will work on technology agreements, AI governance, intellectual property and regulatory matters from its Milan base and beyond.

In this role, you’ll support product launches, manage disputes, guide labour issues, and help build scalable legal tools with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Ability to solve complex problems from first principles with sharp, structured thinking.
• High level of initiative, responsibility, and accountability for work quality.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to support teammates and share ideas.
• Proficiency in English in reading, writing, and speaking.
• Post-degree experience in a law firm or in-house counsel is expected.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate cross-border commercial contracts including confidentiality, consulting, licensing, SaaS and other tech agreements.
• Support product launches by drafting external communications, terms, and policies with AI-assisted first drafts.
• Advise across business units to mitigate risk on technology, product, marketing, IP, consumer protection and AI governance.
• Manage disputes and litigation in Italy and abroad, coordinating with external advisers.
• Guide labor-related matters globally in alignment with company values.
• Build scalable legal tools, forms, playbooks, and AI-powered workflows.
• Monitor regulatory developments and identify opportunities to unlock value.
