Job summary

Bending Spoons in Milan, Italy, seeks a talented IP lawyer to shape and manage our global IP strategy and portfolio. You will lead cross-border disputes, draft and negotiate agreements, and provide practical advice on product, open source, and regulatory matters.

You will build scalable legal tools and contribute to AI-enabled workflows while collaborating with product teams to unlock value and reduce risk. This role offers significant growth and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Ability to solve complex problems from first principles with sharp structure.

• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Licensed to practice law with relevant law firm or in-house experience.

Responsibilities

• Shape our intellectual property strategy and align it with business goals.
• Manage our IP portfolio across jurisdictions, including trade secrets, copyrights, trademarks, and designs.
• Lead cross-border IP disputes and enforcement with external counsel.
• Draft, review and negotiate technology and IP agreements with sound risk judgment.
• Provide practical legal guidance on product decisions, acquisitions, open source, advertising and consumer law.
• Build scalable legal tools and playbooks, integrating AI-powered workflows.
