Job summary

Dr. Schär Group is seeking an IT Service Desk Technician to join the Global IT Infrastructure & Operations Team at our Postal headquarters. You will provide first-level support, manage devices, accounts, and key applications for colleagues across all locations.

You will handle hardware/software/network issues, use the ITSM tool, set up workplaces, and contribute to IT projects. English and Italian are required; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT or equivalent; relevant professional experience may count.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Android, and iOS devices.
• Familiarity with PC hardware and software architecture.
• Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 user administration.
• Independent, solution-oriented approach; excellent interpersonal skills in an international environment.

Responsibilities

As an IT Service Desk Technician, your role involves managing IT systems and providing support to colleagues across all Dr. Schär Group locations, helping them with their devices, accounts, and key applications.

Your responsibilities:

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
• Support IT systems in manufacturing environments
• Classify and prioritize user requests using our IT Service Management tool
• Resolve issues directly or elevate them to specialized IT teams
• Configure, maintain, and support client devices and peripherals
• Set up new workplaces, laptops, and desktops
• Collaborate on IT projects
• Maintain the internal IT documentation and the knowledge base
• Occasionally travel to company locations as required

Your profile:

• Degree in IT or equivalent professional experience
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Android, and iOS devices
• Familiarity with PC hardware and software architecture
• Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 user administration
