Job summary

Dr. Schär is seeking an IT Service Desk Technician at the Postal headquarters to support colleagues across all group locations. You will manage IT systems, assist with devices, accounts, and key applications, and help maintain documentation.

The role requires hands-on support in Windows environments, Active Directory and Microsoft 365, with strong communication in English and Italian. Occasional travel to other sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Android, and iOS devices.
• Independent, solution-oriented approach.
• Excellent interpersonal skills in an international environment.

As an IT Service Desk Technician, your role involves managing IT systems and providing support to colleagues across all Dr. Schär Group locations, helping them with their devices, accounts, and key applications.

Your responsibilities:

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
• Support IT systems in manufacturing environments
• Classify and prioritize user requests using our IT Service Management tool
• Resolve issues directly or elevate them to specialized IT teams
• Configure, maintain, and support client devices and peripherals
• Set up new workplaces, laptops, and desktops
• Collaborate on IT projects
• Maintain the internal IT documentation and the knowledge base
• Occasionally travel to company locations as required

Your profile:

• Degree in IT or equivalent professional experience
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Android, and iOS devices
• Familiarity with PC hardware and software architecture
• Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 user administration
• Independent, solution-oriented approach
• Excellent interpersonal skills in an international environment
• Proficiency in English and Italian, German is considered a plus
